Lucky Strike

'Lucky Strike' was the outcome of my final major project. I aimed to explore the concept of ‘home’. This was the longest time frame we had for a project and I found it took on many new meanings throughout my exploration. It ended up being quite a personal project, as I was moving out a few months after making it, the final film was filled with mementos of my childhood. Animation really resonated with me because of how it can be used to show narrative, inspired by animators like Jeff Scher I used rotascoping to particularly showcase movement throughout the animation and make it flow from scene to scene.
