This project is focusing on using appropriate materials for a chosen quote. I have chosen to quote my own dad saying "Ich bin nicht dein Papa" translating from German to English as 'I am not your dad'. I felt this quote to be rough, cold, heavy, big, strong and unexpected. After researching into abandonment I have decided to go forward with concrete and metal as my materials. Both of these respond to my emotions perfectly. As this quote was rather unexpected I have hung up the letters with metal wire.
