UNREALITY

Rare conditions disrupt the human rhythm, and new things give rise to new experiences. My work uses a casual doodle style to show the experience that new normal brings to me. Throughout 2020, people feel untrue, and there are more and more things that cannot be distinguished from the true and the false. I am more inclined to the combination of illusion and reality than real pictures. I was inspired by science fiction films, and "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" gave me the theme and created this digital painting. The layout of the three grids respectively represents my physical, psychological, and visual experience. The fish symbolizes the sense of suffocation brought to me in this situation. The mask is the most intuitive representative of this period. The galaxy and the street view represent the combination of reality and fake.
