This drawing is called “Family Time”. It is about loneliness and its images as dining of a family. The initial idea comes from the family during isolation because of COVID-19. As the whole country was shut down, some of us lived with families every day. However, long-term isolation made people anxious and too lazy to find activities to spend their time together. We surfed the internet but lacked communication with each other. Everybody seemed to be staring at their phone every time, everywhere, even while having meals. At the same time, domestic violence increased. The world on the internet is diverse but virtual, not reality. Technology has made people more and more independent, but also more and more separated. This trend has existed for a long time, but isolation at home exacerbated it, and people felt more alone during that time.
