This project takes its direction from my relationship with Coronavirus，which means new normal. I created a series of paintings, it is a storytelling of my isolation. There are three paintings in this series, I tried to use these paintings to represent the different emotions during extraordinarily challenging time in three stages (early, middle, and later). It‘s the narrative works of art, I sought forms, decoration and symbolism that captured the physical and emotional change elements. In the process of my experiment, I used different materials and painting methods to represent my emotions in three different periods. These paintings became another window for me to face the new normal.
