The streets of Dhaka, Bangladesh, are a theater that manage to captivate any spectator. It is a city that is always on the move, where you can breathe the rawness in every corner, everything feeds on the chaos in the markets and the noise of the crowd. You could write a book for each of the stories in the oldest part of Dhaka. It is a city that can surprise anyone. This series shows people of an ancient culture inside a 45 year old country. In the photographs you can find both moments of turmoil as other of visual silence. The idea is to show the portrait of the city and independent portraits of many of the inhabitants of Dhaka. The series is complemented by portraits in motion, reflecting the combination of silence and chaos.
