This piece of artwork utilizes a page of junk journal as a medium to create a fantasy world in which people live beneath the sea while sea levels rise and submerge land and islands. As sea levels rise owing to global warming, this climatic issue will severely impact our daily lives by 2050 (Lu and Flavelle, 2021), my artwork investigates the relationship between human activity and sea-level increase.
