Due to climate warming, the problem of melting glaciers on the earth has become more and more serious and glaciers have been melting faster in recent years. I wanted to create an artistic expression by observing this phenomenon of melting glaciers. In this artwork, I chose some pleated fabrics, plaster, quartz sand and other materials with different textures. I discovered that the combination of these materials gave the painting a different texture. These textures simulated the cracks of glaciers when they dissolve, and pieces of glaciers drift to the ocean after they dissolve. All of these can show the melting process of glaciers, so that people can intuitively see the process of glacier fusion. I hope it can call for people to pay attention to the impact of glacier melting.
