The name of my art piece is “flooded”. I used Polaroid to created a framed scene that I was flooded by flood caused by global warming. I mainly used clay to shape the figure, watered blue ink on it, I took a picture of this figure’s part with polaroid, and then I injected blue ink into it. I am not a specialist in this filed so I could not totally understand the meaning of the academic concept of global warming. Only the macroscopical concept of global warming could not inspired me. But the results of disasters occurred by global warming sometimes could make some “emotional connections” with me. I tried to use individual feelings to integrate macroscopical topics.
