The graphical representation of a concept through photography & decoding hidden meanings of ancient Greek words

This work explores the Codes of the Greek alphabet and the connection with photography by decoding Greek words and finding hidden meanings embedded within them. The project consists of abstract diptych images (close-up images showing details of marble) which are combined with ancient Greek quotes. Photography has been used as a tool in order to create a composition with patterns, visual textures and color. When reading the significances of each letter in the alphabet, from the letter alpha (Α) to the last letter omega (Ω), we can see that each one consists of a force and energy. Since everything comes within the cosmos and creation, each letter is characterized in the common four elements of nature, with these being Air, Fire, Earth, and Water.
