With this project, I aimed to explore the theme of 'Smash It and Clash It', through the deconstruction of organic matter. I chose cells, the basis and hence the creation of life as my inspiration. I also chose maize and explored patterns and colours used in the above to inspire my knit designs. I chose to adapt the textures and colours through careful yarn selection and techniques to develop my textiles.
