We wanted to portray the fun side of the arts as personified by Grayson but with respect and reverence to the representation of the robes.
By using an elegant and minimalist form we hope to show another side of femininity, that is its strength and regality. the aim after all is to encourage other Chancellors to embrace more representative robes. Think Cleopatra meets Julius Caesar and produces a Goldilocks/ Red riding hood tribute.
Ivory crepe with slouch fit top, knee length gold tinted organza tiers interspersed with more ivory crepe through bottom half. one long tier of pale organza for the cloak with a shorter darker layer on top. A beaded organza crochet hat to cap it off.
