My proposal is a floating visitor centre which contains exhibition about the history of the Dnipro River rapids. It’s located in the river dam near the National Reserve of the Khortytsia Island in Ukraine.
As people used the Dnipro rapids for centuries, the main reason to make this project is to show richness of Ukrainian history through the events connected to the river. Foremostly, I want to make this project for Ukrainian tourists. I think that nowadays it’s especially important to help Ukrainian people realize their national identity and diverse cultural background.
