Using my ignorance about microplastics, bioplastics and the climate crisis as a starting point, I set about to reconsider my use of material and the harmful waste product that iteration and prototyping can cause within sculpture. This scene depicts a slice of landscape where a small bird has been laid to rest in the middle. Six months on, the vegetation once alive, has now died.
