Playbot. The first-ever entertaintment magazine made by machines for machines. Not only it is written, photographed but also printed and bound by a machine. The process is machine-to-machine interaction with rarely involving humans in the loop.Despite the fact that most images were created based on non-sexual inputs, the machine classified them as “racy” and “adult.” How did they come to such a decision? Who’s possibly benefiting from or being harmed by it?Whilst suggesting a new form of visual culture, Playbot challenges the viewer to ponder upon the bias and continued expansion of machine learning.
