Keepsakes of Place
Keepsakes is an exhibition and public archive of collected materials, memories and experiences of landscape. Through a series of memory walks in London participants were encouraged to collect encounters of place in the form of found materials, sounds, words and images; stored in boxes, sealed to be reopened and displayed in a public archive. Visitors and participants are invited to revisit and experience place through their memories and the memories of others. Keepsakes is an interdisciplinary collective composed of Fatima Roriguez and Daisy Mae Smith, with backgrounds in performance art, visual art and movement based practices, archive and research
