This project was created during my final year, it links in with the themes of my dissertation , which was on Resistance and the Representation of Black Hair and Black Women in Contemporary Films, during this project i got to focus more on creating final outcomes on a topic that is relatable to me and how i perceive this from all the research that i gathered, this project was about communicating the theme of black hair during slavery, it gave me a glimpse on how fashion is with black hair, and how much it affected people of colour, for not being close to your typical Eurocentric style through out the years and how fashion has a big impact on hair today and in the black community.
