This plastic mannequin photographic project seeks to warn the public about the arrogance and prejudice towards environmental conservation. The mannequins are obtained from waste collectors who sell repainted and sanded mannequins that would have otherwise gone to a landfill. By taking pictures of the plastic mannequins, I wish to draw attention to the work that waste collectors are doing to safeguard the environment from the climate crisis. Even though they are doing it for money, their efforts are still worthy of respect and recognition. And those who oppress them and believe that the environment has nothing to do with them don't take nearly as much action as they do. The climatic catastrophe will ultimately wipe off humanity if we maintain this attitude toward the environment, turning us into these dispersed, broken mannequins in the bushes.
