First, I made a mind map about the climate crisis, and I got a lot of keywords from the mind map. For example, temperature rise, garbage, waste, marine pollution,and consumption, these keywords give me a lot of inspiration to do my work. After that, I did some research of artworks.

I made three plans. Because my major is graphic design, so I want to make some poster. First of all, my first plan is about consumerism. The production of our daily necessities requires the use of a large number of natural resources. I want to take pictures of them with rotten food and very old clothes, and then add words or sentences to make the posters. The reason why I want to take pictures of these things is because that it come from our daily life. I want everyone to know that we should not blindly buy things that we do not need or use. The second plan I want to do is about garbage pollution. I will find some pictures of the environment and garbage I took before to make posters. Of course, I will also add some words or sentences. The third plan is about waste. I want to collect some garbage around me to make a collage and we can know how much garbage we will produce in a day. On the right side of this page is my third plan. For example, I collected some waste paper, plastic bottles, small tickets, my wrong handwriting, and plastic bags to make this poster. In this picture, I have added Chinese and English sentences. The Chinese sentence means saving is more meaningful than making money. The English sentence is reduce or reuse.

This is my second plan. I used the photos of the sea and garbage I took before to make these two kinds of posters. The first poster looks like a garbage sea, and the second poster is a lot of plastic bottles in the sea. The Chinese meaning on the poster is to swim with plastic bottles. This is the first plan I made. I took some pictures of fruit,food, tickets, take out bags and flowers. I also made a ball of clay and wrapped many masks on it. Then I began to try to improve my last four posters.

Then I began to try to improve my last four posters. For example, the first is a rotten banana. I added the word "leave of" on it. At present, some people have not yet realized this point. The food industry is a huge impetus to the intensification of climate change. Our global food processing system is gradually pushing the natural state to the brink of collapse.The second picture is a picture of dried flowers. I want to express the rising temperature and I added the special effect of sunshine to this picture. In the third picture, I put the small ticket delivery bag and the receipts together. Above this picture I added the special effect of plastic. And added with words excessive consumption. Our understanding of the harm of microplastics is basically focused on the oceans and organisms. In fact, the presence of microplastics in the air also has an impact on the environment. The production of our daily necessities requires the use of a large number of natural resources. Our constant consumption and waste lead to the continuous loss of these resources.Let our environment have a climate crisis. I want people to know that we often buy some useless things, which will make us waste them. In the fourth picture, I took a picture of the small sculpture I made and added words. In this picture, I want to let you know that the climate crisis will affect our health.

This is my final artwork. If I can improve these works later, I will change their text and fonts. In doing this work, I deeply realized how much we waste in daily life, such as the masks we wear every day and the rotten food. Of course, I also have many difficulties in making this work. For example, when making clay, I need to wait for it to dry, which means I may need to make other things in those two days.
