ual-climate crisis project
This project is a four-part video clip, all of which are directly or indirectly related to the climate crisis. It consists of news coverage from BBC and sky news, followed by auto-tuned, remixed content from TikTok, both showing reactions to the weather. The next section shows film clips from , and ending songs of a tv series which connect the issue in both positive and negative aspects. Some would say the climate crisis is a subject that needs governments to counter and solve but feels far away from us and a little unreal. Therefore, I was inspired to represent it as a "real or fake issue” by mixing my fake news report with the real news content. The word "we" in the ending line means both our nature and our humanity. In fact, we as a community of human beings share one future and need to work together to fight the climate crisis.
