The work is an experiment inspired by discussions about climate change and Marine pollution. The contraction and expansion of the two black plastic bags is like breathing with the audience. They are displayed in a fish tank like a pair of lungs. The white foam and black plastic bags below take up almost all the space, suggesting that the world we live in is also full of this pollution. I want to remind people that there is too much plastic waste in the ocean now, and I want to make people aware of this so that we can protect our Marine environment. The sound in the video is the "breathing sound" produced by electric motors shrinking plastic bags, as well as some noise made by cars and machines, expressing the staggering carbon emissions.
