My work “Urban Breathing” is a series of installations. Each one includes various noses growing out from urban roads toward the sky. I aim to focus on the problem of urban water-logging caused by the government’s blind promotion of urbanization and ignoring the climate crisis. I made the noses of different types of paper clay, and decorated one of them with a floral pattern. I implied the dynamic movements of exhalation and inhalation using the swaying movements of the plants on each side of the nose. I hope to let my work to interact with the audience and surroundings.
