‘ascendancy’ is a menswear collection inspired by the combination of military garment details and topographical contour lines. The minimalistic colour palette allows the silhouette and detail to stand out boldly while creating sharp contrasts that mimic the harsh outlines on relief maps. Fabrics are placed with a mix of prints and textures to create protective layers accented by oversized pockets and hardware. Drawing from a range of contemporary and historical references, this collection is welding of street-style spirit and utilitarian techniques.
