The final outcome of my MA Fashion Curation project. This project centres around creating a spotlight for the stories behind clothes, especially the people. Coming from Manchester, my life has been intertwined with the football synonymous with the city.
The perspective of football fans has always been skewed by the narrative of hooliganism and violence, however there is more to this group than this. Football is a holder of memory and meaning, something that can be informed also by its fans.
This project aimed to look beyond traditional forms of curation. Creating an archive, this project considers itself as the first step towards creating exhibitions, products and connections that could enrich the sportswear market whilst engaging with supporters.
