This project is inspired by Orchids; I initially started looking at Nature and flowers and after visiting the Horniman Museum I began researching more focusing on colour and shape. I was drawn to the patterns within the petals and the variety of colours they can be. I mixed yarns as well as metallic yarns to create texture within my samples to replicate the Orchid Flowers.
