This is my work for Experimental Process consisting of three stages. In Stage 1: 'Disrupted Nature', my research mainly focuses on shadows formed by nature to inspire my knit patterns. I have also explored various techniques in building layers and adding textures to my knitted samples. In Stage 2: 'Pick n Mix' I have chosen to look at the object, tiger hide, and was inspired by the texture of the fur and started to form my final material board based on it. I also chose the word 'Power', which made me look at patterns created with tiles. Hence, I have combined both of the research gathered in stages 1 and 2 and started developing ideas to produce the final samples for Stage 3: 'Synthesise'.
