Hospital File, 2023, Artist's Book: concertina bound etching, photography, screen print, letterpress, gold leaf and acrylic. My Hospital File is a potent object for me. It contains exhaustive records and measurements, but it does not reflect 'me'. The view it contains is purely 'objective', functional and biomedical. For this project, I remade my file from my subjective, phenomenological view as a patient. It includes photographs, paintings, prints and writing from a 5 year period.
