"The Illusion of Hue" is a design tool that explores the dynamic relationship between colour and its surroundings. The tool consists of a series of 3D structures made from a mix of materials, with each structure finished in a unique way to showcase how colour changes under different conditions. The accompanying vivid photography, in collaboration with Rosie Feather, captures the interplay between colour and its surroundings, providing designers with a deeper understanding of the complex nature of colour theory.
