The second work in a series of eco-dyed silk textiles stretched across a steel frame evoking the visual of a traditional painting on stretched canvas. The work is a collaboration between myself and my nonhuman kin that are present in the work, including logwood, turmeric, and marigold. The role I play in creating these pieces is minimal as the plants are the ones who provide the color palette and create the abstract composition.
