Apollo e Dafne

This is a serie I called Apollo e Dafne inspired by the Greek myth of Apollo and Daphne. I wanted to represent my vision of the myth, which is a story of a not reciprocal love. What I like about the myth is the gentleness of the figure of Daphne, the way she is presented... her hair, her arms, her overall beauty, and of course the vision of a passionate, desperate love for her; to me it was really important to capture this in the portraits, and combine it with a melancholic touch that characterises my works.
