As the final project in my CSM GradDip, I wanted to create something that would resonate with my memories of this year. Saying goodbye to all the lovely classmates I met on campus is difficult for me. Therefore, I view this project as an opportunity to express my gratitude to each and every one of them. This project is inspired by Friendship bracelets, a symbol of my friendship that resonates with my connections to friends. This concept drew inspiration from the habits prevalent in my generation, prompting me to incorporate bracelet techniques into the development of outfits for this project. I sought to develop a textile that seamlessly connected all the ropes. To achieve this, I utilized soumak weave and square knots, a technique commonly employed in creating friendship bracelets, an ornamental element for my outfits.
