Identified a gap in the market for sustainable weddingwear that lives on after the wedding day. By creating weddingwear that converts into a jacket I solved this issue. This reduces the impact on the environment and reduces the fast fashion nature of the industry. I created a jacket that was worn reversed on the wedding day, then when turned around, the tulle sections hidden up in between the lining and the wool, the quilted padded sections are revealed. These are poppered together so that the length is customisable. I collaborated with Lucy Orta in her Lost species project so that I could use her material as the lining of my garment, and to make the underwear, the main focus of the project was to highlight the impact of biodiversity loss on the ecosystem.
