The project Introduction to Industry Practices in collaboration with womenswear, explored the issues surrounding sustainability in fashion. Our group’s mini-brief of “less is more”, gave us a first glance of the problem of overconsumption in the fashion industry. As a collective, we established that food waste would be our focus and through fashion and textiles, we could offer solutions to tackling the particular issue.
