This project is based on the same mini brief as my IIP Collaborative Project. The brief of less is more, centring on the issue of overconsumption in fashion. For my individual work I directed my research into the types of overconsumption as a psychological behaviour. Trying to find solutions through breaking those bad habit, using emotional design and colour psychology. As well as, exploring the idea of object sentimentality and longevity through preservation, slow fashion and timeless prints. In doing so I created interesting motifs for textiles, whilst utilising recycled fabrics and sustainable material to contribute to circularity in fashion.
