Any material can be repurposed, even when it becomes unwanted and gains the title of 'rubbish' or 'waste'. Artists produce a lot a waste in the process of creating art, so in an ideal world, artists and creatives should find ways to repurpose the empty spray paint cans, broken brushes, cut-offs and scraps and so on, instead of throwing the often toxic waste into landfill.
