I am wearing my Blue Midas frock which is made of a repurposed material from my sculpture ‘Precious’, made of ironed-together blue carrier bags. I iron tabloid newspapers. I take a sip of water from a plastic bottle and spit on the newspaper. Steam rises. Fleetingly a red light appears on the iron. Everything else is blue. Then I smooth the paper onto the wall, place my hands on it and let out a long anguished scream. This life-giving screaming is against the dominance and fakery of news media, against patriarchy, consumerism, capitalism and more, more, more. I repeat the same ritual over and over again for three hours. Site specific collaborative performance, audio work and installation, using found objects on site and responding to the unexpected.
