Sheffield Wildlife Festival

Sheffield Wildlife Festival will be held at the Canal basin once a year. It’s main purpose is to raise money for the conservation and protection of wildlife along the Sheffield and Tinsley Canal. The funds will create a ‘wildlife corridor’ on one side of the canal where animals are free to breed and create habitats in a protected area whilst people can walk along the other side and enjoy nature in the heart of the city. The festival will educate, and create a sense of community around the canal basin to re-purpose an area of the city.
