The flowers in this project represent remembrance, hope, sympathy, support, honour, and love. I created the pattern in arrangements and bouquets. I wanted to make sure the arrangements had space and breath around them. The absence of colour creates an abstract and simplicity to the prints, suggesting that the audience focuses on the line instead the colour of the flowers which could inadvertently change the meaning of the print. I used a sheer fabric so they could be layered in front of each other and could see though the pattern behind. This made the pattern foggy representing one’s mind during grief.
