Pencil on paper 59.5x 84.1 cm The Magpie represents the idea of collecting objects, particularly in numbers of 4 (which in my culture is bad luck) and personal objects that hold meaning or significance, that viewers may identify with or attach personal meaning to, depending on their own culture, folk law and belief in luck. ​​ I placed the drawing on the floor as I felt the drawing could be seen better compared to a white wall.
