For my Personal Professional Project, I aim to explore the theme surrounding the complexity of homosexual identity through the lens of gay-identifying men. I want to challenge myself by exploring the various ways in which gay men perceive themselves, both what they think is socially acceptable in adhering to the social conventions of the male gender binary and how their true wishes for their self-expression might differ as a result of toxic masculinity in our society.
