The Mammals

The graduate collection is ‘The MAMMALS’. As humans, we often overlook the fact that we are also mammals. Alongside our humanity, we possess the wildness of animals. We don various "uniforms" crafted by humanity, following to the rules of human society. However, our inner wildness longs for release. My work illustrates how humans strive to find a balance between their humanity and their animalistic instincts. The constraints of societal rules gradually tame individuals, leading them to lose their uniqueness. My designs blend elements such as rivets, rust, butcher, and lots of archetypes while also emphasizing the use of silk, denim, and leather to highlight the contrast between reason and impulse. By merging the wild with practical, everyday attire, my creations allow us to unleash our untamed emotions through clothing in our daily lives.
