The Ship of Theseus, is a feature-length sci-fi film about a musical actor, Zheng, in his early 30. After a serious car accident, Zheng discovered that he had become a bionic android. He didn’t want it, but everything around was changed by it. He had to find a new track for his life.
This is a painful story about the slipping ring, bleeding metal, who you see in me and who I am. Despite the many high-concept technological settings involved, this film is more like a poem which is being slowly recited. When the camera rests quietly on his eyes, you will see the transparent spirit shining.
