This project aims to make the public aware of the stakes of light pollution, an unobtrusive pollutant, and the climate crisis through artistic expression. I have used woodblock as a medium to create a printmaking piece that presents a possibility for the city of the future. In the future depicted in this print, the concept of caring for the environment is deeply rooted in people's consciousness, and neon signages on the surfaces of buildings with slogans about protecting the environment, which can be seen everywhere. Underneath these neon signages are withered plants and mutated insects that have been harmed by light pollution. The whole print is composed of black and white, symbolising the mourning of this future scene.
