Surrealistic collage image about climate crisis

My work is inspired by the intersection of urbanization and consumerism, reflecting on their impact on the climate crisis. Influenced by Beomsik Won’s architectural collages and Andreas Gursky’s photographic explorations of consumer culture, I crafted a surrealistic collage of skyscrapers interwoven with luxury brand advertisements. This piece aims to provoke thought on how urban landscapes are shaped by commercial interests, often at the expense of environmental well-being. Living in a bustling metropolis, I witness firsthand the effects of rapid urban growth, such as the urban heat island phenomenon. Through my art, I invite viewers to contemplate the sustainability of our cities and the balance between progress and nature.
