'Silent Waters' is a project focused on highlighting the pressing issue of ocean acidification and its devastating effects on marine ecosystems. By combining futuristic visual elements with web design, the work aims to educate viewers on the gradual destruction of marine life. By depicting bleached and skeletal creatures like the John Dory fish, combined with cyberpunk-style data visualizations, the project aims to stimulate critical thinking and raise awareness. The work is aimed at environmental advocates and the public, encouraging everyone to take action together to address the ongoing threat of ocean acidification. This project marks an important step in my use of art and design as a tool for environmental advocacy. The process of creating this work has reinforced my belief in the power of visuals to communicate complex issues and inspire meaningful change.
