In Chinese mythology, fantastical creatures such as the Taotie and Qiongqi are celebrated for their unique allure and captivating stories. Among these mystical beings, the merfolk are particularly distinguished by their exceptional traits. Unlike other creatures, the merfolk do not typically attack humans. Tragically, their ability to produce rare fabrics and the value of their tears has made them targets of human exploitation. The mefolk are imprisoned in a specially designed bottle with an electric discharge device at the bottom, used by humans to inflict pain for extracting valuable tears. These tears are collected and converted into wealth, reflecting the real-world plight of rare species hunted for their high economic value.I aim to convey a key message: humanity is not the center of the ecosystem, and we should not recklessly destroy nature or hunt creatures to fulfill our own desires.
