The "Diffraction" is a creative endeavor that employs photography as its primary medium to address the climate crisis (Since I possess a profound interest in photography).   In this work, I split it into two parts; I integrated P. B. Shelley's poetry into the work and employed two distinct visual styles in its creation. The first part is about an area affected by desertification, and the second part is about storms and typhoons along the south coast of China. The name "Diffraction" for this work is derived from an optical phenomenon in fundamental physics. I associate the subject, the work, and the audience with the light source, hole and the light that splits and diffuses after passing through the hole in the diffraction phenomenon. It is my sincere wish that this work will serve as a catalyst to inspire the audience to contemplate the climate crisis.
