Intertwined as Ice and Fire is a project that responds to global warming through three innovative fabric techniques. Using biodegradable materials such as thermochromic powder, gelatin, alum and silicone, with elements of bubbles, crystals and folds to symbolize ocean hazards, glacier melting and temperature change. I produced fabric samples in three forms with different visual effects and combined them to create five fabrics. The first uses thermochromic powder and gelatin to express the harm to the oceans from global warming, the second uses alum crystals to symbolize the melting of glaciers into oceanic ice floes, and the third mixes thermochromic powder with silicone to convey the sensation of melting by blowing folds through a hot air blower. All of these fabrics use biodegradable materials to reflect the concept of environmental protection and contribute to sustainable development. The aim is to reduce environmental impact and promote sustainable development.
