My independent project 'Sun Side-Up' is inspired by the iconic sunny-side-up egg dish and the viral 'fried egg challenge' popularized on TikTok. Through a dynamic poster, I aim to illustrate the process of frying eggs under the sun as a metaphor for the detrimental effects of global warming on humanity.
In this project, I use stone as a material that symbolizes the passage of time and the enduring nature of climate change. By incorporating the structure of a foldable clothes drying rack into my design, I hope to highlight the extreme heat we are increasingly exposed to. I aim to use graphic design as a medium to convey the significant impact of global warming and extreme heat on humanity.
