This installation reconceptualizes the familiar air conditioning unit as an environmentally integrated art form within the densely layered urban environment. Enveloped in a transparent bubble, each unit becomes a microcosm of regeneration. Inside, native plants engage in photosynthesis, actively assimilating and transmuting expelled greenhouse gases. The resultant purified air is released through discreet apertures at the bubble’ s apex. By intertwining natural processes with human-made structures, this work challenges the boundaries between the organic and synthetic, symbolizing the potential to harmonize human technology with natural cycles, reflecting the interconnectedness of all life and the sustainability of ecological systems. It offers a vision of urban ecology that is both functional and aesthetically resonant.
